High value backlinks are links to your site that originate from popular, high page rank sites. In determining your websites popularity the search engines not only look at the number of incoming links from relevant sites, they also look at the popularity of the sites linking into your site. What this means is the higher the popularity of the site linking into your website, the greater the popularity score you are allocated by the search engines for that link.
High value backlinks come from web sites having a Google page rank (PR) of 3 or higher. When you have high value backlinks to your website, the search engines see them as an indication that other relevant and popular sites value the content on your site. Therefore your site must have value to searchers so it is ranked higher.
As an example an incoming link to your site from Youtube would score a lot higher than an incoming link from my blog.. Why ? Youtube is one of the most popular sites on the internet and has a much higher page rank than my blog. So posting videos to youtube with a backlink to your site is a great way to create high value backlinks.
There are several other ways you can create high value backlinks to your site. Here are two of the most popular.
Blog commenting – by conducting a search of blog sites you can easily build a substantial list of google page rank 3 or better sites to post comments. You must first check to ensure the blog has the “do follow” characteristic otherwise your backlinks won’t register. While this can be a good strategy, in many cases your comments need to be approved by the blog owner before your backlinks go live. With this in mind if you are going to use this strategy you need to ensure your comments add value to either the blog post or the blogger. Fail to add value and I guarantee you your comments and therefore backlinks wont get approved.
By far the easiest way to create high value backlinks is to use article marketing. There are a lot of high page rank article directories online and creating high value backlinks is as easy as submitting articles with backlinks to your site either embedded in the content or placed in your author resource box. This is my number one strategy and I use it to create 100’’s of backlinks , however if your going to use this strategy make sure you read the rules of the site carefully as many article directories only allow you to post backlinks in your signature or resource box.

The main difference regarding Do-Follow and No-Follow back links aren’t vital to the common internet browser, however to webmasters and internet marketers, they’re just a couple of the biggest phrases you will come across. I saw many of the bloggers are submitting articles on different article directories. They are paying attention to quantity not quality of backlinks. I think that is not a good idea. Submitting articles on high quality article directories can give a lot of traffic as well as better ranking on search engine position.
So it is always a good idea to submit articles on high PR articles directories first.
