Keyword Tips

A big part of my content marketing success can be attributed to learning the art of keyword research. Knowing which words and phrases to target with your content is  the first step to driving traffic to your website. Get your keywords wrong and you could be waiting for visitors for a long time but get it right and you can start driving 1000′s of visitors to your site this month. So I ask you how many visitors are you getting to your website a day?

Within 4 days of launching the website you are visiting right this minute, I had 100 visitors a day, thats 3000 visitors a month and I tell you now my traffic has grown ever since and continues to grow daily.  But it hasn’t always been that way. I still remember the pride I felt the day I launched my first business website but I also remember the frustration of  it not working, it got less traffic in a year than I got within 4 days of launching this site and the reason is my keywords were all wrong.

Im telling you now the biggest problem I see with so many websites is poor keyword research and selection. Recently I had one gentleman come to our office who had spent over $12 000 on a website and was struggling to get traffic. The website looked great and all the buttons worked but the problem was it had been designed and built by graphic artists who knew nothing about SEO and keywords.  No one was ever going to find his website unless they already knew the name of his company.
